Hi, I have this weird issue with my MAC Outlook client 2016 version where I'm unable to read any of the encrypted emails received in spite of the valid SMIME certificate present in the Keychain. The error I see is 'The security of this message cannot be verified because of an error'. To narrow down this issue further, I also use a Windows machine and the same SMIME certificate works perfectly in the windows Outlook client 2016. With this it's clear that there is no issue with the SMIME certificate. I've seen the similar issue raised by another user for Windows outlook 2011 for mac and it's strange to see the same issue still persisting in your product.

I've tried removing and updating the SMIME certificate more than a hundred times now and that doesn't seems to be solving this issue. Hope someone can throw some light and help me to get this fixed.
